Care Guide for Timeless Luxury - Room Towels

Preserving the Softness & Elegance of Your Towels

At Globaltex Fine Linens, we believe that true luxury lies in lasting softness and quality. Our premium towels are designed to maintain their plush texture, vibrant color, and absorbency over time. With proper care, you can ensure that your towels remain sumptuously soft, durable, and refreshing, providing an indulgent experience every day.

Care & Washing Instructions

To ensure your Globaltex Fine Linens towels maintain their luxurious feel and vibrant appearance, it’s crucial to wash them properly. Wash your bath towels in warm water (below 60°C / 140°F), which is gentle enough to preserve the fibers without causing any damage. Use a gentle cycle to minimize wear and tear, especially on the plush texture. Always wash towels with similar colors to prevent any color bleeding or fading.

We recommend using a mild detergent that is free from bleach or optical brighteners. These chemicals can strip the fabric of its natural fibers, leading to a rougher texture and dull colors over time. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can build up on the towel fibers and reduce their absorbency, leaving them feeling less fluffy and less effective after every wash.

Drying Guidelines

For the perfect balance of softness and durability, tumble dry your towels on a low to medium heat setting (below 60°C / 140°F). High heat can weaken the fibers over time and may cause the towels to lose their plushness. By removing them promptly from the dryer, you’ll help preserve their fluffy texture and prevent wrinkles from setting in.

Shaking out your towels before and after drying is also a great trick to enhance their softness and fluffiness. This step allows the fibers to relax and spread out, ensuring a fresh, luxurious feel. If you prefer, you can also dry your towels naturally by hanging them in a well-ventilated area, but be sure to avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading of the vibrant colors.

Pressing & Finishing

Towels are typically designed to retain their soft, luxurious texture without the need for ironing. However, if you prefer a crisp, neat look or need to remove stubborn wrinkles, it is important to use the lowest heat setting on your iron and avoid pressing too hard. Excessive pressure can damage the fibers and reduce the towel’s softness.

Using steam is an effective way to relax the fibers and help eliminate any remaining wrinkles while keeping the towel's plushness intact. For a fresh, fluffy feel, try shaking the towel out after ironing to restore its natural softness.

Additional Care Tips

  • Skincare products: Avoid contact between towels and skincare products containing benzoyl peroxide or alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), as these ingredients may cause discoloration or stains. These products can be particularly harsh on fabrics, leading to permanent marks that are difficult to remove.
  • Residue buildup: To keep your towels fresh and free from any detergent residue or fabric softener buildup, add half a cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle occasionally. This will help break down any excess detergent and restore the natural absorbency of your towels.
  • Storage: Store your towels in a cool, dry place to prevent mildew or odor buildup. Avoid storing them in damp areas or sealed plastic bags, as this can lead to unpleasant smells. You can also fold your towels neatly or hang them to air out to keep them fresh for longer.
  • Avoid Overloading: When washing towels, don’t overload the washing machine. Overcrowding can prevent towels from rinsing thoroughly, leaving detergent residues behind. It also reduces the towels' ability to move freely, which can lead to uneven washing and drying.
