Pillow is an indispensable part of our daily life. How should you choose the right pillow?

We answered for you. Pillows are an essential part of any bedding, but the right pillow can be the difference between waking up refreshed or waking up with a stiff neck.

What Size Pillow to Buy?

The size of your pillow is important. It will affect how comfortable you feel while sleeping and also how healthy your spine will remain throughout the night.

If you're not sure what size pillow you should be using, then here are some helpful tips on how to find out.

Measure Your Bed

The first thing that you need to do is measure your bed so that you'll know exactly how much room is available for pillows between each side rail. This will help determine which one will be best suited for your needs as it pertains to comfortability (and also its price). There are three different types available which include standard/queen & king sizes as well as euro pillows (which tend to be smaller in length.

Standard Size Pillowcase

The standard pillowcase is 20" x 30". It's the same size as a standard pillow, so it covers it entirely.

Super Standard Size Pillowcase

Length: 30 Inches
Width: 24 inches

This size is for those who prefer their pillows to be a bit larger than the standard size. In addition to being a bit wider, this pillowcase can also be used with shams of the same size. The length remains unchanged so that you can still reach through it when making your bed and not have to adjust where your sheets go in order to reach one side or another.

Queen Size Pillowcase

A queen-size pillowcase measures 20 inches wide by 30 inches long. It is approximately 60% the size of a standard bed sheet, and it can be used in place of one to keep your bedding neat and tidy.

Queen-sized pillowcases typically come with a zipper or button closure so that they can be removed easily when washing them. The opening at either end should also have the extra material sewn on to prevent any tears or shredding from pulling off too much fabric over time.

King Size Pillowcase

King-size pillowcases are the largest size available for pillows, and they measure 20 inches by 40 inches. The standard king size is 5 inches longer than a queen-sized pillowcase (20” x 40” vs. 20” x 36”) and 3 inches wider (40″ vs 36″). The extra length allows you to tuck the case around your king-size bed, while still providing plenty of room for a larger neckroll or decorative insert at one end. King-size duvet covers are also available in these larger sizes so that they can fit over your comforter more easily.

Body Size Pillow Cover

You can purchase various sizes of body pillows, but you must decide which size will best suit your needs. A larger cover is used for the body pillow up to 20" x 54". These are ideal for those who want to snuggle into their pillow while they sleep, whether on the couch or in bed. You can choose from many different types of materials, such as cotton and flannel, which are made of 100% cotton fabric.

Natural fibers absorb moisture while keeping you warm at night, so they're perfect if you have trouble falling asleep due to the cold weather outside! There are also covers made of microfiber treated with antimicrobial properties; this helps prevent unpleasant odors from forming over time, even if no one but yourself uses these covers!

Specialty Pillowcase Sizes

Standard pillowcase sizes include:

•          Standard: 20 x 26 inches

•          Super standard: 22 x 28 inches

•          Queen pillowcase sizes include:

•          Queen: 21 x 29 inches

•          King pillowcases. Like queen, but larger—and we mean it! These are the largest size you'll find on the market today, so if you have a king-size bed or are just really tall (or both), then these are for you. They measure 22 x 36 inches!

Euro Pillow

Euro Pillow: A euro pillow is square, and typically smaller than a standard size. They are often used in European hotels and homes, but can also be found in the United States as well.

Standard Pillows: The standard size pillow is 18x26 inches (45x66 cm). This size is the most popular choice for people who sleep on their back or stomach, as it provides the best support. In addition to this, they're more versatile than other sizes since they can be used in bed while sleeping on your side or back.

Orthopedic Pillow

The most important thing to keep in mind when purchasing a pillow is the size you will need. While standard pillows all have the same dimensions, they can vary greatly in their effectiveness.

Travel Pillow

A travel pillow is a compact tool that can be used to support your head while on a plane or train, but they also make great reading and TV viewing companions.

Throw Pillow

Throw pillows are a great way to add comfort and style to your home. They come in many shapes, sizes, and colors. Throw pillows can be used to create cozy seating areas for family movie nights or as another layer of interest for any room of your house.

Boudoir Pillow

The boudoir pillow is designed to support your body while sleeping on your side. This type of pillow should be long enough to support the length of your body and have a flat surface on which you can rest your arms. The firmness of the pillow top should match that of the bottom, so it provides more uniform support along its length.

Pregnancy Pillow

Pregnancy pillows are designed to help your body rest comfortably throughout the day. They can help relieve pain and discomfort, particularly in the back and legs. Pregnancy pillows act as an extra layer of support for your head, neck and shoulders while you sleep or relax at home.

How to Measure a Pillow

  • Measure the pillow horizontally. Place the tape measure on one edge of the pillow and wrap it around, remember you'll need more fabric in the back than the front so it doesn't clump together and disturb your pillow.
  • Measure your pillow vertically from corner to corner (or just measure from seam to seam if there is no visible corner). This will tell you how long your finished square will take when sewn to an envelope closure style flap that has not yet added seam allowances!
  • Now measure diagonally on both sides of your rectangle—this is where many people make the mistake of forgetting how much material is needed for the seams!

Do Pillows Need a Pillow Cover?

A pillowcase is essential to keep your pillow clean and free from stains and dirt. Pillow covers will also keep your pillow looking newer and cleaner for longer, especially if it's made of a clean, lightweight fabric.
