Miami Dade College is a public college in Miami, Florida. Founded in 1959, it has a total of eight campuses and twenty-one outreach centers throughout Miami-Dade County. It is the largest college in the Florida College System with more than 100,000 students[7][8] and the second-largest college or university in the United States. Ramazan Patak Hospitality Alum Donates Linens for Hotel Training Suite.
When Miami Dade College alumnus Ramazan Patak heard about the Miami Hospitality Center getting a facelift, he immediately knew how to help. As president and Ceo of Globaltex Fine Linens in Miami, he donated linens for the space, which when completed will provide students with a realistic work environment as they train to enter the hospitality workforce.
Globaltex linens will be used.
The hospitality center, which supports both credit and noncredit hospitality programs is adding a simulated hotel front desk, guest room dining area, and an industrial kitchen/ lab to support a new pastry chef culinary program. Globaltex linens will be used for the guest room and dining area.
''It's important for me to give back,'' Patak who earned an Associate in Arts with a pathway to a major in hospitality management. I've been fortunate, and this was a way for me to provide a service. Everything I learned at MDC helped me to grow my business and become successful.'' said.
Successful linen company.
Patak founded his successful linen company in 2013. It has grown to 2,000 employees with offices in Miami, Houston, Cancun, and İstanbul. Products are imported from the company's manufacturing facility in Denizli, Turkey, and shipped to clients in 30 states, including W hotel's Ritz Carlton and other luxury hotels.
