Preserving the Comfort & Elegance of Your Pillows & Comforters

At Globaltex Fine Linens, we believe that true luxury is found in lasting comfort and superior quality. Our premium pillows and comforters are crafted to provide exceptional softness, breathability, and support. With proper care, you can maintain their plush feel, freshness, and durability—ensuring a restful and rejuvenating sleep experience night after night.

Care & Washing Instructions

To preserve the softness and longevity of your Globaltex Fine Linens pillows and comforters, wash them only when necessary, ideally rarely, to prevent wear. Wash in warm water (30°C / 86°F) on a delicate cycle to keep the fabric and filling intact. Always wash with similar colors to avoid color bleeding.

Use a mild detergent that does not contain bleach or optical brighteners. These chemicals can break down the fibers, causing discoloration and reducing the softness and comfort of your pillows and comforters over time.

Drying Guidelines

For the best results, tumble dry your pillows and comforters on a low heat setting (below 55°C / 130°F) until they are completely dry. It is essential to ensure they are fully dry before use or storage to prevent any moisture buildup, which can cause unpleasant odors or mildew.

To maintain their fluffiness, regularly fluff your pillows and comforters during the drying process. This will help redistribute the filling and keep the fabric from becoming compressed. If necessary, reshape them after drying to restore their original loft and softness.

Pressing & Finishing

Ironing is generally not required for pillows and comforters, as they are designed to retain their plush texture naturally. However, if you prefer a crisp, neat appearance, use a low heat setting on your iron and avoid excessive pressure. Steam is a great option for relaxing any wrinkles without compromising the softness of the fabric.

Additional Care Tips

  • Fluff regularly: Over time, your pillows and comforters may lose some of their loft and plushness. Regularly fluff and reshape them to maintain their fullness and comfort.
  • Avoid Overloading: When washing multiple pillows or comforters, avoid overloading the washing machine to ensure that they get a thorough wash and dry cycle. Overloading can also result in uneven drying and may cause the filling to shift.
  • Spot Cleaning: For minor stains or specific areas that need attention, spot clean with a damp cloth and a mild detergent to prevent the need for washing the entire item.
  • Storage: Store your pillows and comforters in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid placing them in damp or humid environments to prevent moisture buildup, which could lead to mildew or odors.
